A majority of the shareholders of Stake Technology, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, have approved a resolution to change the company’s name to SunOpta, Inc. The company said the new name better describes its business in the natural and organic foods sector and combines the names of two of its food operations, including the SunRich Food Group and Opta Food Ingredients.
